Awards season has officially started! As much as I like seeing all the beautiful gowns, I absolutely love seeing all the hairstyles that hit the red carpet!  I was definitely not disappointed by last night’s Golden Globes locks. I adored the Old Hollywood styles that Amy Poehler and Jenna Dewan chose. Charlize Theron looked beautiful with her low side bun (such a great, easy look to achieve at home) and subtle headband accent (try shopbando.com). And of course you can never go wrong with loose, flow-y locks like Julianne Moore’s casual Cosmo. No big surprise here: Elle Macpherson’s Mai Tai was to-die-for. Ponytails were also a big trend on the carpet, and as usual, Nicole Richie did this look best with her loose pony and heavy bangs.
